Mrs. Fackler and I will be taking our classes on a field trip to see The Lorax at Movies 10 in Nelsonville, OH, on Wednesday, March 28th.  We will be leaving school promptly at 8:30 a.m., as the movie is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.  The cost will be $5 per person and will include a movie ticket, popcorn, and a drink.  The classes will be paying as a group, so money must be turned in to the school by Monday, March 26th.  Following the movie, we will be going to the park in Nelsonville for a picnic, so everyone needs to bring a sack lunch with them.  We plan to return to school before regular dismissal time at 3:15 p.m.  If for any reason you feel that your child should not attend this event, please contact Mrs. Bumgarner with your concerns; otherwise, he/she will be marked absent for the day.

As usual, extra drivers are needed for this trip.  Please let me know if you are available to transport students on this trip.  All parents are welcome to attend.

As the first and second grade teacher, it is my pleasure to instill the love of reading through Spalding phonetics, Shurley English, and Accelerated Reader.  I enjoy seeing the children come alive through music and catchy jingles, which seal the many facts into their miinds.  I also delight in creating an environment rich for learning.
